Ultimate Guide to the Mystic Seaport Museum

Tour the Mystic Seaport village

See actual trade shops and businesses from the 1800s in the village of the Seaport Museum Mystic. Travel back in time and experience the world of New England!

Take pictures in front of the shipyard and other Mystic Seaport exhibits

The Mystic Seaport shipyard has actual ships floating on a Mystic harbor. Take photographs of yachts by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, a 12-foot Beetle Cat, a whaleboat from the 1920s, the last wooden whaleship in the world and other historic Mystic Seaport landmark vessels.

Other gorgeous exhibits you'll see include artwork, figureheads, carvings, navigation tools and more.

Tickets cost around $26 for adults, $24 for seniors, $22 for youth (ages 13 to 17) and $20 for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Children of and under the age of 3 years old get in free.

Is there a Mystic Seaport discount?

In the past, the museum offered free entry for essential workers. For 2021, between July 1 and September 6, Connecticut residents' children who are under 18 years old get in free.
